It’s time again for the Boston Film Festival, which returns to AMC Boston Common Sept. 21-24.
The 33rd edition of the festival will feature not only films, including a few world premieres, but also notable attendees, including producer-director James Keach (“Glen Campbell . . . I’ll Be Me”), MSNBC’s Chris Matthews, and actors Barkhad Abdi (“Captain Phillips”), John Bradley (“Game of Thrones”), Anne Heche (“Wag the Dog”), and Mike Vogel (“The Help”). The festival’s diverse lineup includes five documentaries: “Augie,” “In the Name of Peace: John Hume in America,” “What Haunts Us,” “Heal,” and “The Bullish Farmer”; and the NBC series “The Brave,” which stars Heche and Vogel.
