Organizers of the Forbes Under 30 Summit, the upcoming conference for young entrepreneurs, have added another notable to the long list of speakers.
Kendrick Lamar will be the keynote speaker of the four-day conference, taking the mike Tuesday at 1 p.m. at City Hall Plaza. The 30-year-old MC, who wowed an enthusiastic crowd at TD Garden in July, will chat with Forbes Senior Editor Zack O’Malley Greenburg.
“Kendrick Lamar is the voice of the under-30 generation, and we can’t wait to hear more from him,“ Greenburg said in a statement. “Not only does he write and record groundbreaking songs, but he also embodies the same sort of spirit, drive and thoughtful passion of his peers across science, tech, the arts and beyond. Forbes is honored to host him in Boston.”
The annual Forbes Under 30 Summit takes place Sunday-Thursday at City Hall Plaza and various other venues, including Faneuil Hall, MIT Media Lab, and the University of Massachusetts Club. Previously announced speakers include “Westworld” star Evan Rachel Wood, actor-investor Ashton Kutcher, businessman Guy Oseary, Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman, Tudor Investment founder Paul Tudor Jones, “Silicon Valley” actor-comedian T.J. Miller, YouTube personality Lilly Singh, Congressman Seth Moulton, sex therapist Dr. Ruth Westheimer, Patriots magician John Logan, and assorted other suits and CEOs.
