The Boston Book Festival brought a slew of literary stars to town over the weekend for readings, panels, and, of course, parties. Before the festival began with Friday night’s Book Revue, many appearing at the festival gathered for a cocktail party at the Boston Public Library. Attendees included authors Ben Mezrich, Dennis Lehane, “The Muralist” scribe B.A. Shapiro, Geraldine Brooks, Somerville writer/teacher and One City One Story author Daphne Kalotay, and festival founder and executive director Deborah Porter.
