Livingston Taylor steps up for veterans

Singer Livingston Taylor performed a couple of patriotic tunes at the New England Center and Home for Veterans’ annual Leave No One Behind gala at the Seaport World Trade Center. The event, emceed by NECN’s Mike Nikitas, honored Governor Charlie Baker and NECHV case manager Henrietta Oparah, and guests included state Secretary of Veterans Services Francisco Ureña, Boston’s Commissioner of Veterans Services Giselle Sterling, and car king Herb Chambers. Taylor, who also teaches at Berklee, performed “America the Beautiful,” “God Bless America,” and “Over the Rainbow.”
