While most of the stories about sexual harassment and assault that are coming out of Hollywood have unhappy — or horrific — endings, not so for Everett’s Ellen Pompeo.

The “Grey’s Anatomy” star said she had a run-in with the allegedly lecherous director James Toback several years ago, and she managed to escape unharmed.

“I actually did have a situation with James Toback where I kind of told him to go [expletive] himself,” Pompeo told USA Today.

Toback, the Harvard grad whose credits include “Two Girls and a Guy” and “Black and White,” was the subject of a recent bombshell expose in the Los Angeles Times in which multiple women accused him of sexual harassment. Hundreds of women have subsequently come forward to say they had similar experiences with Toback. Actress Rachel McAdams, who was nominated for an Oscar for her performance in “Spotlight,” said Toback told her he’d masturbated while thinking of her audition for his 2001 film, “Harvard Man.”

In Pompeo’s case, she said she met the director in a public place.

“And I brought a man — my friend Tony,” she said. “And [Toback] didn’t like that at all. And I could tell that. I could tell instantly that he was, like, no good. The minute my friend left, [Toback] asked me if I would get naked in a movie. And I was, like, ‘Really, dude? My friend has been missing all of 30 seconds and now you say that?’ I kind of laughed in his face.”

Pompeo was one of the lucky ones.

Apparently, the same cannot be said for actress Kristina Cohen, who is accusing “Gossip Girl” star Ed Westwick of raping her three years ago. In a lengthy Facebook post, Cohen, who’s 27, said the attack occurred while she and her boyfriend were at Westwick’s house.

The actress said she went into a guest room to take a nap and woke up to find Westwick on top of her in bed.

“I was paralyzed, terrified. I couldn’t speak, I could no longer move,” Cohen wrote. “He held me down and raped me.”

Westwick denied Cohen’s allegation in an Instagram post Tuesday.
