Maybe you read last spring that the American Repertory Theater is adapting Alanis Morissette’s iconic 1995 album, “Jagged Little Pill,” for the stage. Well, it’s really happening. Diablo Cody, who’s writing the show, ART artistic director Diane Paulus, who’s directing it, and choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui just finished a three-week workshop to develop the musical. “Jagged Little Pill,” featuring all your favorites from Morrissette’s LP, will tell an original story written by Cody, whose “Juno” screenplay won the Academy Award for best original screenplay in 2007. The show premieres at the ART in May. Here’s one of the big hits from the album.
