LL Cool J is many things: hip-hop artist, actor, TV host, and, now, Ivy League grad.
The Queens-bred rapper, whose real name is Todd Smith, shared the news via Instagram, posting a pic of himself raising his hand in a class at Harvard Business School.
“Completed the Business of Entertainment media & sports program @harvardhbs,” the rapper wrote in the caption. “It was a life altering experience. Learning is cool… #dreamsdemandhustle #dreamsdonthavedeadlines lets go!!!! Ps. The head of the program & my professor @anitaelberse was absolutely gangster. #ironsharpensiron.”
Athletes, actors, and other famous folks have become big fans of HBS prof Anita Elberse’s courses in the business of entertainment, media, and sports. Among those who’ve taken her class are actress Katie Holmes, actor Channing Tatum, former NFL cornerback Rashean Mathis, NBA players Pau Gasol, Chris Paul, and CJ McCollum, Irish rugby player Jamie Heaslip, DJ Khaled, and hip-hop artist Swizz Beatz.
