‘Daddy won five times. They never won before’ — Gisele teaches kids about sportsmanship

It was a tough loss for her husband, the team, and all of Patriots Nation, but Gisele Bundchen kept it positive post-Super Bowl, congratulating the Eagles for their big win and showing her kids what good sportsmanship looks like.

On Monday morning, the supermodel posted a sweet picture of the family on Instagram — an emotional Tom Brady embraced by Bundchen and their kids.

In the post, she saluted the Philadelphia Eagles for their victory (it was the team’s first Super Bowl win), the Patriots for all their efforts, and finally her hubby, TB12.

“We are incredibly proud of you because we are able to see every day all the commitment, sacrifice and hard work that you have devoted to become the best in what you do,” she wrote. “We love you!”

The kind words came on the heels of a social media report from Yahoo’s Dan Wetzel that Bundchen was seen congratulating Eagles players as she was leaving the Minneapolis stadium after the game.

But before the glad-handing, Bundchen had to gently explain the Patriots’ loss to the kids. (She and Brady are parents to son Ben and daughter Vivian. Brady also has a son, Jack, with actress Bridget Moynahan.) Two of the kids were crying after the loss, according to USA Today.

At one point, the model mom reportedly explained to 5-year-old Vivian, “Daddy won five times. They never won before. Their whole life, they never won a Super Bowl. You have to let someone else win sometimes.”

Speaking of Moynahan, the Longmeadow High School graduate was vocal in her support of the Eagles as well, tweeting a couple of times how strong the team was looking early on. She singled out the team’s quarterback Nick Foles for his terrific play. “#NickFoles is having an amazing game @eagles @nfl,” she wrote.
