Looks like Jennifer Garner is the latest big-screen star to head back to TV.

The actress — and Ben Affleck ex — will team with “Girls” creators Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner for “Camping,” an eight-episode HBO comedy, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

It’s good news for fans of Garner, who hasn’t done much TV since ABC’s “Alias,” the much-beloved spy drama from J.J. Abrams, which ran for five seasons in the early 2000s. (Prior to that, Garner costarred on “Felicity,” also an Abrams creation.)

“Camping” is being billed as a comedy, but it looks to be a complex one. Garner will reportedly star as Kathryn Siddell-Buyers, an LA mom whose planned camping trip with her husband and other couples goes awry.

“We love Jennifer’s restraint and comedic timing, and we can’t wait for the warmth and intelligence she’ll bring to our central character, Kathryn. It’s truly a dream to have her first on our call sheet. Now we just have to write her some stunts,” Konner and Dunham said in a joint statement.

Not sure if that last line was tongue-in-cheeck, but “Alias” never shied away from action sequences, so fans can only hope.

Garner is just the latest actress to return to the small screen after years of movies.

In November it was announced that Jennifer Aniston will join Reese Witherspoon for a new Apple TV series set in the world of morning television. Witherspoon also produced HBO’s adaptation of “Big Little Lies,” starring alongside Laura Dern, Shailene Woodley, Zoe Kravitz, and Oscar winner Nicole Kidman, all of whom are best known for big screen roles.
