Before his talk at Harvard Book Store, author Dave Eggers spoke at a reception at Warby Parker for members and supporters of 826 Boston, the local branch of the youth writing and publishing nonprofit Eggers founded in 2002. (826 Boston, located in Roxbury, helps an estimated 4,000 city kids annually improve their writing skills.) Eggers was in town promoting his new book, “The Monk of Mokha.”
