Don’t stop the presses.
Channel 7 meteorologist Bri Eggers is having a baby, and Monday the station encouraged viewers, via Twitter, to tune into the noon newscast to find out the sex of her baby, even using the hashtag #GenderReveal.
If, like us, you’re generally working at noon and not watching TV, here’s what you missed: Eggers is having a girl.
Meanwhile, over on WBZ-TV (Channel 4), they’re celebrating meteorologist Barry Burbank, who’s marking 40 years with the station. (That’s a lot of weather.) The station is tweeting about Barry periodically, including a few gems like this:
