Pretty much everyone in Hollywood attended Monday’s premiere of “Avengers: Infinity War” in LA because, well, pretty much everyone in Hollywood is in the movie. Among those walking the red carpet were cast members Chadwick Boseman, Benedict Cumberbatch, Zoe Saldana, Josh Brolin, Chris Hemsworth, Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo, Robert Downey Jr., and Scarlett Johansson, who was arm in arm with boyfriend Colin Jost of “Saturday Night Live.”

But conspicuously absent was one Chris Evans, the Sudbury native who plays Captain America in the Marvel movie franchise. What gives? Evans is currently starring in “Lobby Hero” on Broadway, and even though Broadway’s dark on Monday, it’d be asking a lot to fly cross country just to pose in front of a movie poster.

Still, Evans did his part to promote the film, which will no doubt do big business at the box office when it opens Friday. The actor and his brother, Scott, appeared together on “Late Night With Seth Meyers,” and the pair played a game Meyers calls “How Well Do You Know Your Brother?”

The answer, it turns out, is pretty darn well.

Chris knows, for example, that Scott’s favorite book is “Where the Red Fern Grows,” and Scott knows that Chris’s favorite Disney movie is “Robin Hood.” Chris also know that Scott’s first kiss was with a girl named Emily Benton (and that it was at Papa Gino’s in Concord), and Scott knows Chris first kissed Maggie Sullivan. Finally, Chris was asked what song he used to sing to help his younger brother go to sleep. Blushing, he answered: “Heartlight” by Neil Diamond.
