While Tom Brady is practicing — finally — with his teammates, his supermodel spouse will be trying to save the planet.
Gisele Bundchen is among a few environmentally-conscious VIPs gathering in Costa Rica this week for what’s being billed as a sustainable fashion and lifestyle summit. Not sure what that means? We aren’t either.
But according to the Costa Rica Star, Bundchen will join designer Donna Karan, Eco-Age’s Livia Firth, Osklen’s Oskar Metsavaht, Paul Hawken, the executive director of Project Drawdown, a nonprofit that’s working to reverse global warming, and other “global visionaries, innovators and disruptors” in Costa Rica. (Bundchen and Brady own a home in the Central American country, so she knows it well.)
Tuesday just happened to be World Environment Day, and Bundchen posted a short video on Instagram urging people to give up plastic bags. In her post, the Brazilian beauty invited others, including @tombrady, to join her in trying to beat plastic pollution.
