Would you like to see some Dr. Seuss art? Would you, could you? You don’t have to travel far!
Visitors of Natick’s Dzian Gallery can view some of the author’s best-known illustrations and personal creations, on display in a selection from “The Art of Dr. Seuss” collection from Nov. 9 through Dec. 2.
Visitors can view limited editions, posthumously produced, of Springfield native Theodor Seuss Geisel’s familiar characters — including the Cat in the Hat and Sam-I-Am from “Green Eggs and Ham” — alongside “The Secret Art of Dr. Seuss,” a collection of personal artwork Geisel created for pleasure.
Selections from the “Secret Art of Dr. Seuss” collection will include Geisel’s “Unorthodox Taxidermy” sculptures, a collection of creatures like the “Carbonic Walrus,” “Kangaroo Bird,” and “Turtle-Necked Sea Turtle,” among other quirky creatures.
