Emma Watson is feeling the sisterhood on the “Little Women” set.
The “Harry Potter” star, who plays Meg March in the upcoming adaptation of the Louisa May Alcott novel that has been filming in Massachusetts, posted a photograph of herself and some of the other stars involved in the movie on social media Thursday.
“I could never love anyone as I love my sisters,” Watson captioned the photo, quoting one of Alcott’s most famous lines from the 1868 book.
Pictured with Watson are director Greta Gerwig (“Lady Bird”), Saoirse Ronan (“Lady Bird”), Florence Pugh (“Lady Macbeth”), Timothée Chalamet (“Call Me by Your Name”), and Eliza Scanlen (“Sharp Objects”). Ronan, Pugh, and Scanlen play sisters Jo, Amy, and Beth, respectively, while Chalamet plays Theodore “Laurie” Laurence.
The forthcoming “Little Women” film also will feature Meryl Streep, Laura Dern (“Star Wars: The Last Jedi”), Bob Odenkirk (“Better Call Saul”), and Chris Cooper (“Adaptation”). The movie is scheduled to shoot through December in Boston, Canton, Concord, Harvard, Ipswich, Lawrence, Stoughton, and the Lexington/Burlington area, and is slated to hit theaters on Dec. 25, 2019.
