Boston Ballet’s recent annual ball raised $1.8 million. More than 500 people were slated to attend the gala at The Castle at Park Plaza for cocktails, dinner, auctions, and dancing, of course.
The ball celebrated Boston Ballet’s partnership with choreographer William Forsythe and featured preview performances of his upcoming work. (“Full on Forsythe” will have its world premiere at the Boston Opera House March 7-17.)
Attendees included (pictured, from left) Jack Meyer, chairman of the organization’s board of trustees; Boston Ballet Artistic Director Mikko Nissinen; Forsythe; Boston Ballet Executive Director Meredith “Max” Hodges; and gala co-chairs Charles Carignan and Michael Cerruti, who donned matching bowties for the event.
