Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence is engaged to Cooke Maroney, an art dealer and director of Gladstone 64, a New York gallery. Lawrence’s representative confirmed the news on Tuesday.

Maroney, 33, graduated from New York University with a degree in art history and has since worked for multiple galleries. But before moving to the big city, Maroney spent his formative years in Vermont, according to the Burlington Free Press.

When Cooke was 2, James and Suki Maroney moved their family from Manhattan to Leicester to open an organic dairy farm. The property is 750 acres of verdant fields, with views of the Adirondacks and Green Mountains.

They also operate a small bed and breakfast on the land, complete with a fridge stocked with “[their] organic free-range eggs and homemade granola, local yogurt, milk, bread, cider and apples,” according to the guest house’s website.

Maroney went to school nearby at Middlebury Union High School, according to his Facebook page.

Lawrence, 28, and Maroney
haven’t announced a date or a venue for their upcoming nuptials, but it sounds as if they have all the space and rustic charm they could want at Maroney’s childhood home.
