The stars were out in full force Thursday evening for a gala honoring Gisele Bundchen and Barbra Streisand for their environmental efforts.
Bundchen and Streisand were selected as honorees for the 2019 Hollywood for Science Gala, which benefited the UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability, a cross-campus research institute devoted to “educating the next generation of environmental leaders and moving science into action.”
Bundchen hit the red carpet for the Bel Air gala alongside her husband, Tom Brady. Other notable guests included actors Rosanna Arquette, Josh Brolin, Gerard Butler, Courteney Cox, Rebecca De Mornay, Nina Dobrev, Anjelica Huston, and Laurence Fishburne; models Isabeli Fontana, Ubah Hassan, Adriana Lima, Maryna Linchuk, Petra Nemcova, and Jasmine Tookes; and musicians Lauryn Hill and CeeLo Green, who also performed.
“It was an honor to be recognized by UCLA Institute of the Environment & Sustainability along with the amazing @barbrastreisand,” Bundchen wrote on Instagram Friday morning. “Our planet needs our care, now more than ever. We need to listen to the signs Mother Nature has been giving us.”
Brady posted a message of support for Bundchen on Friday afternoon.
“I am so proud of my wife for the work she has done over the past 15 years to be recognized by the UCLA Institute of Environment and Sustainability,” Brady wrote on Instagram. “You are a warrior for the environment and your family loves you so much. Te amo @gisele.”
