On Thursday, Boston Pride announced the entertainment lineup for this spring’s 49th annual Boston Pride Festival. Performer Todrick Hall, singer-songwriter Robin S., and house artist Beth Sacks will deliver headline performances during Boston’s annual LGBTQ+ Pride parade and concert taking place on June 8 from noon to 6 p.m. at City Hall Plaza.
Hall — 2019’s main headliner — made it to the semifinals on season 9 of “American Idol,” served as a guest judge on “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” and choreographed one of the most iconic Beyoncé flash mobs, filmed in a Target in 2011.
“We are thrilled to host an exciting and diverse group of artists and performers at the 49th Boston Pride Festival,” said Boston Pride concert chair Henry Paquin in a statement. “All of these artists, performers, dancers and DJs reflect this year’s theme of ‘Looking Back, Loving Forward,’ and will be the perfect entertainment for the thousands of people flocking Boston City Hall this year to celebrate equality.”
The festivities on June 8 will also include performances from singer-songwriter Kat Kennedy, band the Spots, quartet All Eyes On Me, rhythmic pop musical artist Taija New, emcee First Lady Sarita, and dance group QWAM, among others.
