Following Justin Bieber’s unprompted callout of Tom Cruise this weekend, when he took to Twitter to challenge the “Mission Impossible” star to an MMA fight, a variety of people voiced their own dream mano a mano matchups.
Among them was former UFC champion Conor McGregor, who once again challenged actor-producer Mark Wahlberg to a fight.
“I challenge Mark Walhberg (sic) on the very same card,” McGregor tweeted on Sunday night. “Back when mark wahlberg was marky mark, I’d’ve still slapped the ears off him and took my ufc shares back.”
Back in March, McGregor made a similar offer to Wahlberg for “a fight for all the shares!” While details of McGregor’s beef with the actor were never made clear, the “shares” that the mixed martial artist keeps bringing up most likely refer to Wahlberg’s partial ownership in the Ultimate Fighting Championship conglomerate.
Once again, Wahlberg seems to be happily ignoring McGregor’s taunts. His most recent Instagram posts show him relaxing on a hammock with his wife, Rhea Durham, and playing golf with basketball legend Michael Jordan.
