Ryan/Globe staffThe Junior League of Boston is celebrating the 45th anniversary of its Show House fund-raiser. More than 20 of Boston’s top designers have transformed 25 rooms in the historic 1854 Nathaniel Allen House in West Newton. Owned by the Newton Cultural Alliance, the home is on the National Register of Historic Places and was a stop on the Underground Railroad. The show runs from May 7 through June 5. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door.
