    Looking for new pieces or inspiration for your home? The Boston Design Center’s Red Tag Sale happens this Saturday and Sunday in conjunction with the Boston Home Show. (The home show happens this year at Black Falcon Pier in South Boston, next to the BDC.) High-end floor samples from BDC showrooms including furniture, fabric, rugs, lighting, art, and accessories — normally available only through designers — will sell for 30-60 percent below showroom list prices. Interior designers will offer free 20-minute consultations during the sale. Admission is $10 for both events.     Around two-dozen of the city’s most stylish will sell pieces from their own wardrobes at bargain prices during the Boldfacers Stylemakers Pop-Up Store and DJ Party Thursday from 7-9 p.m. We’re told actress Traci Bingham of “Baywatch” fame will sell off her red carpet Jimmy Choos; Boldfacers founder Lisa Pierpont will part with three J.P. Tod’s handbags from the Milan flagship boutique; Mix 104.1’s Sue Brady will set out a black Coach clutch coveted by none other than Steven Tyler. There will be some men’s pieces as well, courtesy of DressCode Boston’s Jeff Lahens and a couple of other fashionable gents. Admission is $10. The fun happens at W Boston, 100 Stuart St., Boston.     Mint Julep has markdowns on fall and winter clothing for its end-of-season sale. Find colorful print dresses, trim jackets, corduroys, sweaters, and more from Shoshanna, Milly, Free People, Plenty by Tracy Reese, Elizabeth McKay, and others. Most sale items were around 30 percent off when we stopped in at the Harvard Square store; we’re told they will be an additional 20-30 percent off starting Friday.     Pink Tulip Clothes & Accessories is running a fall/winter sale, with Joseph Ribkoff and 525 America dresses, Sanctuary pants, and Michael Stars and Sweet Pea tops marked down 50 percent. Select pieces including Lynn Ritchie dresses and Design History sequin tops are 75 percent off. The sale is expected to run through mid-February.     Fire Opal has fall and winter pieces marked down 20-50 percent at its Brookline and Jamaica Plain stores. Designers include Rina Zin, Spirithouse, gr.dano, and Judy Tampa (Brookline) and Neesh by D.A.R., KimmChi, and Mary Deangelis (Jamaica Plain). The sale will run through Feb. 10.
