There will be markdowns galore in Coolidge Corner this weekend as around three-dozen businesses take part in a neighborhood-wide sidewalk sale. Among the deals, Mint Julep will have designer duds from past seasons at around 50-90 percent off; The Pear Tree will have discounts on jewelry, gifts, and beads; Fire Opal will have markdowns on spring and summer clothing, jewelry, and housewares. There will also be samples and special menus from restaurants, Pilates demonstrations, and a live jazz guitar performance on Sunday. No Rest For Bridget has a range of items marked down for its summer sale. Select shirts, dresses, and skirts are up to 80 percent off; shoes and white and colored jeans are 50 percent off. (Original prices for clothing are budget-friendly: Shirts go for $23.99-$49.99, for instance.) Bracelets now sell for $4.99 and some necklaces for $9.99. We found Echo scarves and sandals and heels from Butter, Corso Como, Vince Camuto Signature, and others when we stopped in at the Boston shop.
