An industrial style menorah, handmade in Vt.

Metalsmith Bruce R. MacDonald has been producing this minimalist menorah (more accurately called a hanukkiah) in his Burlington, Vt., workshop for more than 20 years. He attributes the success of the design to his being a non-Jew who had no preconceptions of what a menorah should look like, not having grown up with the holiday tradition. His work, along with that of other artisans, from paper makers to glassblowers, is offered through Dec. 31 at the deCordova Museum’s Wonderland Artists’ Market. Curve of Lights stainless steel and brass menorah, $126 at deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, 51 Sandy Pond Road, Lincoln, 781-259-8355, www.decordova.org
