For a trip to the farmers’ market or grocery store, or to the garden to pick beans, RSVP International’s Market Basket ($16) is the carryall to take along. The lightweight, collapsible basket tucks neatly under your arm; when it’s time to fill, it’s simple to open. The basket is made with an aluminum frame and polyester fabric that has a zippered outside pocket for a change purse or phone. It measures a roomy 17 inches long by 11 inches wide by 9 inches high and has an easy-to-grip rubber handle. The large base keeps it stable and small feet elevate it off the ground. Unlike shopping bags, where melons have a way of moving on top of ripe tomatoes and berries, basket contents stay put. Don’t leave home without it. Available at Kitchen Outfitters, Acton Woods Plaza, 342 Great Road, Acton, 978-263-1955; Port Plums, 50 Water St., Newburyport, 978-462-7700, Utilities Home Store, 393 Commercial St., Provincetown, 508-487-6800; and The Winebuyer’s Outlet, 179 Main St., Sturbridge, 508-347-1500
