The Nantucket Shipwreck & Lifesaving Museum’s new outdoor exhibition just might save your life. “Red, Right, Returning” features present-day Coast Guard lifesaving procedures, an everyday guide to boat safety, and a recreational four-person life raft for both children and adults to “try out” on the grounds of the museum. Step inside the museum to view objects documenting maritime history, from
famous shipwrecks to lifesaving equipment. Back by popular demand, the exhibit, “Guiding Lights: Nantucket’s Lighthouses, Keepers, and their Families” offers new surprises and hands-on activities for all ages. Through Oct. 14. Adults $6, 5-17 $4, under 5 free.  158 Polpis Road, Nantucket, 508-228-1885, www.eganmaritime.org
