    Batatos a morro at Atasca

    Try classic Portuguese “punched potatoes” in Cambridge.

    At Atasca, the “punched potatoes” are served with another Portuguese classic, charcoal-grilled dry salt cod that’s been drizzled with hot olive oil and garlic. (On the menu, look for Bacalhau a Lagareiro com Batatas a Morro.) Small red bliss or new potatoes are roasted in a blanket of coarse salt, then smashed and drizzled with olive oil, infusing the whole potato with flavor.   — Rachel Travers
