Find a farm dinner and pull up a chair

You’ve heard of farm-to-table dining. This is table-to-farm.

The relationship between suburban and rural farms and urban restaurants has long been established, but there’s something different, and special, about sitting down to eat right where the food grows. New England has a wide variety of culinary and agriculture-related tourism options (think of city folks heading out to see maple syrup being made or spending the weekend at a seaside clam or oyster fest), and on-the-farm dinners using just-picked produce seem to be the trendiest right now. That means there’s a farm dinner for all palates and almost all budgets. More farms host these on-site dinners each year, but they do sell out, so make your reservation as soon as possible.
