    Gourmet grilled cheese at Cutty’s

    In Brookline, a delicious combination from the panini press.

    Beautifully crafted sandwiches are the MO every day at Cutty’s in Brookline, but I try to make it on Wednesdays for a fave, the broccoli rabe-TJ. “TJ” is Cutty’s tomato jam, spiked with vinegar, fresh ginger, cumin, and red pepper flakes. Joining it on a torta roll is tender-crisp broccoli rabe with garlic oil, plus sharp provolone and fresh mozzarella. Popped into a press, the sandwich crisps and the cheese melts, irresistibly. —Adam Ried
