School of the sea

For this study abroad program, landlubbers need not apply.

About 1 percent of US college students (around 283,000 per year) spend a semester or an entire year studying abroad, immersing themselves in another culture and language while picking up credits toward a degree. Now in its 50th year, the program takes students around the world on a ship for interdisciplinary course work and hands-on experience. To learn more, click here.
