Honors for Neil Swidey’s story on food allergy fakers

Boston Globe Magazine staff writer Neil Swidey won the Society of Professional Journalists’ 2015 Sigma Delta Chi award for Public Service in Magazine Journalism (regional/local circulation) for his story “Why Food Allergy Fakers Need to Stop” (October 2015). The awards recognize outstanding work in print, broadcast, and online journalism. This is Swidey’s fourth award from the society as a writer for this magazine.
