Having traveled to Botswana in July 2017 for a two-week safari, I very much enjoyed the recent article and photos in the magazine (“Wild Life,” November 12). Another lower-cost option for safaris is the mobile camp, which friends and I did. While we had to set up and break down our tents at each campsite, we enjoyed excellent food and guides, and saw many if not all of the animals anyone else would see.

I suggest the Globe take up a collection to help finance Phil Primack’s next travel experience. I thoroughly enjoyed reading of his adventures in Botswana. And lovely to know he was familiar, pre-trip, with The No.1 Ladies’ Detective Agency literary selections. I really hope we hear from him more often.
