Two women were arrested after stealing three postal packages from the lobby of a South End apartment building at 1661 Washington St., Boston police said. Police were alerted Saturday by a witness who reportedly saw the two women stealing the packages, then followed them to 11 East Newton St., where police made the arrests. Felicia J. Younge, 39, of Dorchester and Dorothy J. Peeples, 48, of Malden were carrying the three stolen packages in a trash bag, police said. They said both women have been charged with larceny from a building.
