Convenience stores: Open at owner’s discretion.

Taverns, bars: Open at owner’s discretion.

Banks: Closed.


Stock market: Closed.

Municipal and state offices: Closed.

Federal offices: Closed.

Libraries: Closed.

Schools: Closed.

Mail: Post offices are closed; express delivery only.

MBTA: All modes of transportation will run on a Sunday schedule. There will be no ferry service on Thursday.

Boston traffic rules: Parking meters are not in effect. All other traffic rules apply.

Street sweeping: There will be no daytime street sweeping on Thursday with the exception of 12 a.m. to 7 a.m. sweeping on posted arterials.

Boston’s trash collection: Collection will be one day late on Thursday and Friday except for residents in Back Bay, North End, Beacon Hill, South End, Financial District, Roxbury, South Boston, and Charlestown.
