A Brockton woman’s face was wounded when a man invaded her North Montello Street apartment on Monday, Brockton police said. Lieutenant David Dickinson said the man reportedly knocked on the woman’s door and then forced his way into the apartment when she answered. The invader covered the woman’s face with his hands, causing wounds, and bound her with duct tape. She was able to free herself and call police after the man left.
