Lottery winners from Pembroke and Randolph hit it big — quickly

The tickets had only been available for less than a week, but that did not stop two Massachusetts men from hitting it big on a new state lottery game. On Nov. 2, John Mancuso of Pembroke was the first grand prize winner of the new “Winner Green” scratch ticket that launched Oct. 30, the Massachusetts State Lottery said. He won $2.5 million and elected to receive a lump sum of $1.6 million. On Monday, Richard Key of Randolph won a $1 million prize from the new holiday-themed ticket. He elected to receive a lump sum of $650,000.
