Police search for suspect in Brighton assaults

Boston police are searching for a suspect involved in a recent string of assaults against female students in the area of Ashford Street in Brighton.

In the last six weeks, the suspect has been responsible for five assaults against women, police said.

Police said the suspect is targeting women wearing skirts. In each assault, the suspect has pushed the victim to the ground and used his iPhone to take a photo under the victim’s skirt.

The most recent attack happened on Nov. 6, and the assaults occur between the hours of midnight and 2 a.m., police said.

Boston police are asking for the public’s help in their investigation and anyone with information is asked to call detectives at 617-343-4256.
