Student dies after being pulled from pool

A 14-year-old student died Wednesday after he was pulled from a Manchester High School pool during a swim class, police said. The freshman student was participating in a class led by a physical education teacher Wednesday morning when he was found under water, Manchester police Captain Chris Davis said. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead. The student was identified as Malvrick Donkor

, who was originally from Ghana and moved to the area only a few months earlier. Davis said there will be an extensive review into the boy’s death.
