The fatal shooting of a 17-year-old Stoughton boy in September by his older brother has been determined to have been an accident, Norfolk prosecutors announced Friday. David Wade was shot in the chest in the basement of his home by his 21-year-old brother Michael on the afternoon of Sept. 29. The family gave first aid to Wade before emergency responders arrived; he was pronounced dead at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after unsuccessful emergency surgery, Norfolk District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey said previously.
