Driver charged with hitting pedestrian in Foxborough

State Police working a detail outside Gillette Stadium after Monday night’s New England Patriots game arrested a driver who allegedly struck a pedestrian on Route 1 and fled the scene. The victim, a 30-year-old Boston resident, suffered a broken leg and cuts and bruises, State Police said. Troopers later arrested Daniel Lisheness, 27, of Southwick. He pleaded not guilty in Wrentham District Court to charges of operating under the influence of intoxicating liquor, second offense; leaving the scene of an accident with personal injury; negligent operation of a motor vehicle; and operating under the influence of liquor with serious injury and negligent operation, said David Traub, spokesman for the Norfolk district attorney.
