Police seek woman in 3 Boston bank robberies

Police are searching for a woman they think may be responsible for three robberies in the Boston area on Thursday, police said. The first robbery took place at 12:40 p.m. when a woman attempted to rob the Mount Washington Bank on Centre Street in West Roxbury, said Officer James Kenneally, a department spokesman. A short time later, another robbery was reported at the Bank of America on Corinth Street in Roslindale, Kenneally added. Police are investigating a third robbery at a Beacon Street bank in downtown Boston at 2:30 p.m. No weapons were shown in any of the robberies, Kenneally said.
