Police are investigating a car crash that sent one adult and three children to the hospital Saturday, according to Bridgewater police. Around 6 p.m. Saturday, Marlice Oliveira of Brockton, who was driving south on Bedford Street, tried to make a left turn and crashed into a vehicle carrying an adult and three children, Bridgewater police said in a statement. Two of the children, ages 7 and 14, were taken to Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital with minor injuries, according to police. The driver was also taken there to be treated for “lower extremity” injuries, police said. A 12-year-old with facial injuries was taken to Boston Children’s Hospital. Oliveira was issued a citation for failing to grant right of way, according to police.
