Male reports Downtown Crossing T attack

A male reported being attacked Wednesday afternoon by five youths at the Downtown Crossing subway station. According to Transit Police, officers received a report of a fight near the pass sales office at about 4:30 p.m. When they arrived, the male told them that he encountered his attackers, all between the ages of 16 and 19, when he exited a Red Line Ashmont train about 10 minutes earlier. He refused medical treatment at the scene, the report said. His age was not available Wednesday night.
