A mechanic died after he was found pinned beneath a minivan and a hydraulic lift at an auto repair shop in Burrillville, police said. Police identified the man as James Cash, 47. Lieutenant John Connors of the Burrillville Police Department told NBC 10 that police received a report at about 9:30 a.m. Saturday from a woman checking on Cash. Police found him pinned underneath a minivan that had been improperly supported on a hydraulic lift. Police said the lift buckled and the minivan and lift fell on top of Cash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
