A Scituate family’s request that the industrial wind turbine near their home be shut down will be heard Monday in Plymouth Superior Court in Brockton. The McKeever family contends that noise and shadows from the turbine have harmed the family’s health. They filed a motion Friday seeking an immediate shutdown of the machine. The turbine’s owners, Solaya Energy LLC and Scituate Wind LLC, were not present at the time of the filing. Judge Charles J. Hely decided to hear the case at 2 p.m. Monday, when the owners can be present.
