Norton man dies after crash with snow plow truck

Police said a 50-year-old Norton man has died after his car veered into a city snow plow truck. Lieutenant Todd Jackson of the Norton police said William Lozeau was driving westbound on West Main Street near the Norton Middle School Tuesday afternoon when his car struck the eastbound plow truck. Jackson said Firefighter Robert Crowley was clearing snow from fire hydrants nearby and tried to help Lozeau. Lozeau was taken to Sturdy Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The plow truck driver, George Guptill, 48, of Cumberland, R.I., was evaluated at the hospital. Jackson said Guptill was not cited in the crash.
