A body found under Interstate 93 in the South End has been tentatively identified as that of a 43-year-old Roxbury man, Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley’s office said Tuesday. The man’s name was being withheld pending confirmation by his relatives, prosecutors said. The man’s death is being investigated as a possible homicide, although a formal cause of death has not yet been established by the state medical examiner’s office, prosecutors said. The body was found around 8:30 a.m. Monday underneath the northbound lanes near Albany and Traveler streets.
