A Pittsfield man has been sentenced to 18 months in jail for biting his infant daughter and pregnant girlfriend on separate occasions last year. Robert Russell Jr. was convicted Thursday of aggravated assault and battery, witness intimidation, and assault and battery on a child with injury.
