Two arrested for garage beatings

State Police have arrested two suspects and identified 12 others in January’s downtown parking garage brawl that left four people injured.

The victims reported to State Police that they had been attacked by a group of 10 to 20 people while waiting to exit the State Transportation Building parking garage at 10 Park Plaza, State Police said in a statement.

The suspects allegedly ­attacked four victims just ­before 3 a.m. on Jan. 27. Two men were severely beaten and taken to the hospital, and two women suffered ­minor injuries.

Trong Huynh, 25, of ­Quincy and Robert Tran, 27, of Randolph were arrested on March 6 and arraigned in Boston Municipal Court on charges including assault and battery and disorderly conduct. Not-guilty pleas were entered on their behalf.

Twelve other suspects have been identified and summoned to Boston Municipal Court next month.

State Police were working to identify three more individuals involved in the brawl.

The fight was captured on video by surveillance cameras and several onlookers, some of whom posted the footage online.

In one version, dozens of people are shown throwing punches in the parking ­garage.
