A New Bedford woman was found dead Wednesday afternoon in her home, said Gregg Miliote, a spokesman for the Bristol district attorney’s office. New Bedford police detectives, prosecutors, and State Police detectives were investigating the suspicious death of Tiffany Ann Durfee, 35. Durfee was found in her home at 68 North St. at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. The state medical examiner’s office took custody of the body, and an autopsy will be performed, Miliote said.
