New Bedford police detectives, prosecutors, and State Police detectives were investigating the suspicious death of Tiffany Ann Durfee, 35. Durfee was found in her home at 68 North St. at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. The state medical examiner’s office took custody of the body, and an autopsy will be performed, Miliote said.
